Open Face Signage also known as open face LED channel letters is a type of sign where the LED Neon tubes are exposed from the front face and cased in metal/acrylic. The casing/body can be made of stainless steel, aluminum or acrylic which can have a brush, polished or painted color finish for added texture and character. The depth of the letter is either 4cm or 5cm.

There are different mounting options for installation:

  • Direct/flush mount - Letters are individually mounted on the wall.
  • Raceway - Rectangular metal that covers around 25% of the back of the sign where all electrical components are contained.
  • Wireway - Slim rectangular mounting that provides a larger footprint on the wall where all electrical components are contained.

Exposed LED Neon channel letters can be used almost anywhere and at any event like your office, cafe, bar, party, wedding, hotel, residential building and even studios. The exposed/open face look gives the sign a trendy and sophisticated look at the same time which will definitely make heads turn.

Flush/Direct Mount

All Letters are individually and securely mounted with stainless steel hardware. All electrical components run through the wall maintaining a weatherproof seal. For ease, each letter has its electrical component, making maintenance easy.

Raceway Mounting

Raceway mounting is a rectangular metal that contains all electrical components and is approximately 5” inches deep. All dimensional letters are attached to the raceway mount. The metal track allows you to carry wires across a wall surface without cutting into the wall. The raceway mount only covers around 25% of the back of the sign and can be painted in any color, allowing it to be more aesthetic to its viewer.

Wireway Mounting

Compared to raceways, a wireway is slim, a closed passage that houses electrical wires. Channel letters are connected to wireways the same way they would connect to a raceway. Its rectangular mounting is approx. 3’ in-depth and gives a larger footprint on the wall. Wireway mounting option can be colored to match the mounting surface or the channel letter color.
